13 Jan 2010

This week was awesome. I am really happy to be a missionary.

Well, this week should have been the best week ever, we had alot of people to be baptized, but, thanks to a big mistake by my comp, it didnt happen.
We had some interviews in our zone, that we had to do, and our zone is HUGE, so it is like 4 hours away by bus, well, my companion missed the bus, and so I ended up having to shut our area for 2 days to go there and do some interviews. It was really rough. We ended up having a great week, but without baptisms.. I am really happy that we had 12 investagators at church!! And 10 have a baptismal date. This week we are going to baptized ALOT of people. It is going to be a great week.

What is really awesome is that we have finally accomplished my goal of having to separte teaching groups!!! Every single day we go on spilts with members, and I go to one part of our area and my companion goes to another. What is going to be really awesome is that this week we have 3 baptisms, and my companion has never taught them! ha, it is going to be cool, on saturday my companion is going to "my area" and he is going to interview our baptisms. HOW COOL! haha, it is something that I always wanted to do, and this week it is going to happen. I have never worked harder in my life, I am defintely sure of that, I am exhusted every day, but at the same time I barely feel tired.

This work is amazing. I love be a zone leader too, I am really finding that the Lord blesses us with revelation when we need it. The coolest things happen to me in my study time in the morning. I will be studying and all the sudden I feel exactly what I need to do to help my area or zone, and I just stop and start writing.. And it is amazing, I am really starting to understand the mantleship of zone leader and of revelation.

This week we found alot of people that are needing the gospel, and most of them are going to be baptized!! This week we are going to need alot of prayers. This week we are going to baptize ALOT of people, so if everyone can please pray that Danilda, Ferrari, Lucas, Raul, Samoel, Simone, Carliane, David, Bruno, and Claricida can be baptized this week!! We are going to work our hardest to accomplish our goal of 10 baptisms!! Please pray for me and my companion, we need to be one in purpose and one in thoughts.
I love you all, thanks for the prayers, I know that they help, I really feel my familys prayers.

LOVE ELDER OLSEN!! VAMOS LÁ! OREM POR MIM!

Wow, this week was really great, we are seeing the Lords hand in our work. I am really sad this week because we werent able to baptize anybody :(. I really feel like the Lord is testing my faith, I have never worked harder, or tried harder in something in my life, and yet I am still not able to baptized as many people as I want too here on the mission.
At least there is a lot of hope, and alot of miracles on the way!! We had 11 investagators at church, and most of them are progressing towards baptism.. The end of this month is going to be amazing. There is one man we are teaching named David, he is 20 years old, and really wants to be baptized, he asked me what he needs to do to be a missionary, I told him, be baptized. Ha, so he is already going to be baptized!! What a miracle!!!
I am really happy on the mission, I have set some EXTREMELY high goals for 2010!!! It is awesome to think that for one whole year I am so going to be a missionary, wow what a privillege!!!
I am going to work harder than I have ever worked before. I am ready to work really hard!!!
Thanks for all the prayers, it really makes a huge difference in my mission, I am positive that I have more people praying for me than any other missionary in the field(well me and Mikey) And I know that it really is the biggest difference in my mission, sometimes missionaries ask why I have such "luck" I just tell them that it is the blessings from my family. I love you alll... I love this work.
The greatest experences on my mission happened this week, when I taught the first lesson to 22 people!!!! 20 of the 22 accepted to be baptized in Januray.!! What a HUGE blessing this is!!! I have special permission from the Presdient to teach until 10 oclock at might because we are teaching so many people!!! Things are going awesome!! Please pray for the Santos family, in total there are more than 30 people in there family that live on the same street!!!One of them Danilda is going to be baptized this Sunday, we are hoping the rest will be in the next two and three weeks!!! Pray alot, we are going to need it!!!!
I love you all! Thanks for all the prayers and letters!!
Love ya
